Re: FORUM FIGHT CLUB

Thankfully I don't have to hop from one clothing forum to the next to decide what style of clothing I should wear. True, my buying of clothes does require a little more effort than wading though ebay and the such, taking punts on things that might or might not fit. Ending up with a wardrobe full of shite that I'll never wear but has an interesting label in the collar. Also true that I've put my money where my mouth is and traveled to have stuff made. Also true that I've never slagged off Bespoke and then carped on about having stuff made to sell to others. That never came to light anyway

Its also true that I've never gone on about how much I love Italian tailoring but never put my hand in my pocket to buy it. Rather, just buy complete tatt from places like H&M, stupid grey shoes, mental patterned stuff and throw it all together like a deranged hippie on acid. I might not be able to read but at least I ain't colour blind.

Now fuck off you bunch of retards.

What is it with you and me looking at your blog? I don't look at your blog. And really, I don't you seriously at all Leer.

Ha, I didn't even notice that! Well there goes your free tie (if they ever get made)

....and to think I sent you that pocket square.

Re: FORUM FIGHT CLUB

Ok, you still get a tie, just cover P+P, or pick it up on your way to Liam's.

In all seriousness though, this is geek clothes hoarding 101, I'm don't mind admitting that, and I don't mind people taking the piss, because I'm only doing it for my own gratification, and to share the geekery with others.

Re: FORUM FIGHT CLUB

Okay dokey GW. None of those things refer to me.

Bop, you're passionate and you've made honest mistakes.  That's what it's all about.  It's the same thing GW does.  The difference is he "puts his money where his mouth"... which only really means he has a bigger budget than you or Leer.

I personally know that both you and Leer aren't afraid to pay for the look when it does float by in your respective price bracket.

Wouldn't even really matter if I had the money, I still can't find anything to fucking fit!

Re: FORUM FIGHT CLUB

I know Rob’s joking but why has a man got to be a Geek or Gay or Both
To be interested in Clothes. This place is full of chaps who have a healthy
Interest in a period of history and a love and passion for Clothing.
Why is that the preserve of the gentler sex? Or Homosexuals?
Why are tens of millions of men who obsess over twenty two other men in dressed shorts
Kicking a bit of leather about considered “normal”.

Funny though innit? Anyway its the Forum fight club so piss off the lot of you!

Re: FORUM FIGHT CLUB

I'm not sure anyone mentioned gay AC, are you projecting again?

I look at clothes the same way I look at any type of design, the unfortunate fact is with this type, it has to go over me.

Re: FORUM FIGHT CLUB

Many types of people are into clothes, it's quite difficult to really pin it down to a certain mindset init? I definitely prefer the term geek though, it is a bit like record collecting for me. I used to love digging and turning up stuff. No different that etsy/ebay hunting.
