Great colours Wooly, no placket I'm really digging lately though its not a breaker if a shirt has one.
It helps me to sleep..
It's all very informal - People just say they'll pop in if they are around. I'm seeing Mr. Woofboxer around 4pm, everybody else usually just drifts in & out. First one I ever did Mr. Kingstonian was there already waiting for me !
Tall Paul Knight from the Ivy Shop years & Johnny Windsor from the Russell Street years will be there deffo, but they aren't Internet people.
JS will be there early, but moving on soon. Paul will be our host. Jason Jules is checking his diary.
It's an open invitation to Talk Ivy.
Best -
Looking good Ville, excellent colour pallet.
No pic today, too busy with work (always time to post on here though!!) before I have to get a 2pm train.

Snuff playboys
Diggin that Ville. Top work my man.
Cheers everyone. Liam, the jeans are 67 505s, this pair on its last legs now. Which reminds me, I need a replacement soon. I have never tried the unsanforized '66 501s – anyone know where I could still get a pair other than ebay?
The deckers are indeed holding up well. I now completely understand what Natural Sole Brother was on about too. The profile was so much nicer before, even on these cheap JC Penneys, than the much bulkier modern offerings from Sperry, PF Flyers and the like.
Like it, Tony. Completely uncluttered simple stuff.
Plus I wish my legs were that long.
Wowzers stowzers!
Those are pretty amazing mate. I wouldn't wear them at all but I can't deny them. They're impressive things.
I may be way off base but I think Gizhou would appreciate these.
Thanks Guys, nice and simple ,is there any other way?

Re:
Ta for that Cappy! I'm a bit confused about the sizing though... LVC suggests they can shrink up to 2" in the waist, Mashburn gives it 0.5", and according to that cultizm site they run tru to size. I'm a 31" waist normally, 32" for, ahem, a comfort fit. Will it stretch back enough if I take the 32s? That ebay seller has a good price, but he's out of 33"
Considering I virtually live in LVC Woolster, I really should be more clued up, but it's still a dilemma for any pre shrunk stuff...that's why 505s are great as you lose nothing on washing them!
My '66 are packed away currently as I only really wear 505s and anything pre '37 at the mo' but I think I bought 2" above my size and was fine...but it really does depend what you do with them and how you go about breaking them in?
I've started standing in the shower with a new pair for around 5 mins just to get the starch out etc.. then wear em to death before giving them their next wash - have found this to cause minimum shrinkage, especially in the waist area! Leg shrinkage is a harder one to call tbh and obviously dependant on how much a turn up you like, but you'll deffo lose a fair bit there.
I should add that this was not with the 1966 ones so they may be a different story.
I normally keep trying them on whilst wet too if I'm concerned about losing too much in the waist, ha ha...and shaping them round my middle.
I've even worn pairs from dry for an age before, but they're still gonna lose something on that scary first wash!
I personally don't think you'll lose 2" on the waist if you just shower them down first tbh,
Have you contacted that ebay seller? He does get a lot of stuff in so may be able to track a 33 waist down for you? He's excellent with returns too!
Good luck my friend!
