I'm about to unveil the Worried Manpants. "With a suit or on a boot... don't be worried, they're MAN pants. Clean taper, hi rise, tight ankles, trim thighs." All I need is lots of money and motivation.

According to Ivy Style it's Guy Barley from John Simons.
I'd hope Guy, if reading this, would pop in and give us all the skinny on the shirts, as he did Ivy Style.
^ Will John Simons be stocking them? I try before I buy.
No idea. Sorry.
The first we heard about them was yesterday and that was in this thread with an article on IS arriving about an hour later.
Major respect to Guy btw.
And put me down for two pairs of drab olive Worried Manpants.
Hello all,
Guy here, thanks for the thread, sorry i've not dropped by sooner.
My role in Leith Clothing has predominantly been as designer, mainly concerning the plaid designs (of which we have many many more in the arsenal). Further stylistic decisions were then made in conjunction with a few others, chiefly my friend Lewis, the real brains of the operation.
I would certainly have flagged up the project on here but i was obviously wary about treading on the toes of your own Mr. Fitzgerald who i realise has a similar product arriving imminently. The timing is unfortunate as we've been working on this fabric for over 18 months and have had the £95 price point in mind from as long as we've had a cost price. Such is life though. The Fizzy (is that their new moniker?) shirts look great and the more Ivy League style shirts the better in my opinion!
Regarding the shirt length, i think the model shots maybe misrepresent the product rather (Our model's pretty tall and long in general). These are not dress shirt length by any means but they aren't radically 'fashion shirt' short either. I'm a fraction over 6"3 and i have no issues with the shirt coming untucked in moderately high rise trousers. There's a size chart on the site for a better idea. The shirt hem shape and length were actually based on a couple of 60s madras shirts.
I'm happy to answer any questions via PM if people have any.
Thanks
Cheers for the info, Guy.
I quite like them and all the best to him.
Why the name Leith I wonder ? , is he a Proclaimers fan ?
Good to see you back RB. Hope you're well.
Same old same old mate.
It's good to see old posters returning.
My only criticism, and it is a minor one, but the two initial shirts are rather similar in colour scheme.
But they look good IMO. Tempted.
Received one of these shirts today, in the 'indigo' madras.
I'm 5'10", with a 40" chest and ordered a size 3.
Can't complain. The collar appears to be lightly lined but the roll is great. Price is a little steep but I guess justified by being made in the UK & from authentic, vegetable-dyed, bleeding madras. It'll be interesting to see how it fades. Hopefully, it won't shrink.
In regards to fit, it's slimmer than what I, and I guess other TI members, would be used to wearing but it isn't gitman-vintage style slim; it's probably a sign I could lose a love handle or two.
The length is relatively short, but spot on for my height for wearing untucked
At 5'10 and a 40 chest, I can't imagine you have much love handle to lose.
It sounds like you are confirming what we first thought. Short, but not too short to wear untucked (always an option for Madras) and pretty slim.
The collar does look decent in the photos and maybe if it's cotton lined will hold up better if the madras is very thin?
A question Don, hypothetically if you were going to buy another madras this Summer would you opt for another Leith colour style, a Fitzgeralds or would you look somewhere else?
Dunno Liam, I am 5' 9 and 38 chest, and I need to seriously bust mine - been very strict on my diet and training this last week, can't keep on with those extra couple of inches.
Ah, you're a real charmer, Liam. Sadly, since taking up a new office job, I've developed a bit of a cake-rack; well hidden by a makers but sadly not too suited to a slim shirt.
Next for me is a Fitzy, I've yet to pop my cherry. What's the length like on them, Liam? I like having the choice of wearing tucked or untucked. The other colour for the leith madras is a bit too similar and I don't suit the cut that great.
The length on the Fitzgeralds is very good for tucking but I wouldn't wear one untucked personally. I prefer a slightly shorter fit for wearing untucked (like Leiths probably) or deep cut sides (like those lovely 6 button Makers you posted today have). Then again I'm short (5'5 or a bit taller) so the length will likely work out a bit better on you.
No chance of it gradually coming untucked during the day, which is one of my pet peeves with modern shirts.
