Looks like a teleporter from the fifties just materialized in that store.

Serious and sharp in the stern tradition of Finnish Ivy!

indeedy!

Less in the vein of Worried Man's Allen Edmonds, more of a relaxed sporty shoe.

Sorry for the Freudian slip, meant to say 'less along the lines of WM's Allen Edmonds'...

Re: Ivy League style for today

I'll take on anyone in the rise contest, but at this point I don't have too much in my high water arsenal.

And youth?  I think I look pretty good for 58.

I don't wish to be rude---- but you don't do ice cold beer that well. Although I did notice that Guinness had an 'ice' option.

Depends where you drink fxh, those in the know can find places where it'll make your teeth crack - saying that, once it runs out it's pretty dire!

Re: Ivy League style for today

I know how to pour a cold beer.  I run a glass mug under the tap.  Get it nice and wet, then straight into the freezer with it.  Put the beer in the fridge of course.  Then on a sweltering summer day you pour your cold beer into your frosty, icy mug and enjoy.  Now that is some good stuff.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Your US ales are going down a storm over here. Brooklyn, Anchor Steam, Sierra Nevada are all firm favorites with us. Bud is a bit lacking in flavour for me.
Alas tonight I only have a fridge full of cheap stubbies, but by golly they will be on the money.
