That's probably it. That's the show Novak and Buchanan were on I think. Insufferable.

Funny that Buckley's first language was not English, he was a Catholic, and Irish-Swiss. He certainly tried to remake himself into the quintessential WASP. I'll bet if one asked Americans who knew who he was that most would think he was the genuine article.

I went to see him when he came to my campus to speak. He was very entertaining, witty, and obviously quite bright. But it was clear that it was somewhat of a circus act.

I believe that there is a "Firing Line" (can be another show though...) episode with Jack Kerouac drunk as hell, he kinda mumbles out the words.
