contrary to popular belief, thieving scousers didn't invent sport shoes...
they were an everyday part of American day to day wear by the late 60s. On Ivy campuses too, so we're not really straying of topic TOOO much...

Definitely. I don't wear trainers much nowadays, but I think they pretty much perfected the things way way back. Almost everything post say, 1970-odd has been unnecessary tinkering and variations on a theme really.

Both great Californian pop groups. Doesn't matter if The Monkees were fabricated. They worked well together and had a sense of humour about the whole thing.
