Tom, do you know anything about the George Cox playboy type boot? Have you seen a pair on your travels in the world of playboys?

Over here they became an everyday yob boot.
So much so that many of us got them just because they were suitable for purpose and knocking around and cheap and heard wearing. Or as the online people say these days "beaters"

The Chukka boot? I would think it's simply a chukka version of the shoe Liam - my friend wears GC's and I know that it is or until recently was Sanders who were making the Popboy model for them.

Really? I had no idea GC wasn't making their own shoes.

I've looked at the GC site and there's a lot of history there but I'm never sure how much of that stuff is true and how much is 'heritage' spin.

Of all the Playboy styles I like the Popboy best. Theyre a more rough and ready looking boot than the others. I like that.
