Love that Oliver.

I also don't think I've ever seen you in Desert Boots and just figured you didn't like them. Good to see that's not the case as they work perfectly with the cord and Fitzgerald's oxford.

Re: Ivy League style for today

I had misplaced them actually and haven't worn them in 6+ months because they were inside an old Knox hat box on the top shelf of my closet for some reason! I blame the wife (at least online anyway!) but I'm glad I found them because I'd been promising to replace them for months now. I'll be in the mist shrouded headlands over the Point Reyes seashore next weekend, so it's good timing to bring out the desert boots again! I've got similar patterned knit socks that I'll probably pull out with this outfit on Friday for a happy hour DJ gig.

Modern Brooks summerweight from the last 5 years or so with no alt. work necessary. Decent rise and perfectly tapered off the rack. I think they only needed a hemming.

They're a decent casual grey everyday trouser like we used to wear to school, only downside is they're made in Thailand! I think it's the Brooks Madison Collection.

It is a bloody good head of hair. It must be good to never look at your hairline and think "I'm pretty sure that's a a millimetre further back than it was last month.".

Haha.  I took solace when my barber recently assured me that "Boy, you gonna have hair when you my age.  Don't worry about dat."

Afterward I started thinking, "Did that mean one or two hairs?"  Or, "On my back?  Well yeah."
