Trying to fit in with the masses stealth dressing today. New dark blue denim narrow straight leg jeans sit on the hip, brown wide leather belt, brass buckle, pink ocbd shirt, with blue and white stripes, third button on back of collar, loop, pleat, open necked, unlined cotton beige blouson jacket patch pockets, flaps, burgundy leather chukkas, 3 up, white OTC socks, cheap black faced watch with green and red NATO strap, clip on shades, too long Italian industrialist hair.

Very lush canopy there in the background.  What's that jacket?

It's a Keydge...picked it up from John Simons last year. Much debated I know but certainly one of my faces. Also perfect for the Japanese climate at this time of year. Not that I realised before heading out.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Just had to google that AB....a long time since I was terrorising a chemistry lab you know...

But yeah...pretty accurate...classic "Bleu de Travail" I'd say..

And I'll tell you what...this is a very well made jacket indeed.. thicker than most of them you find in the same vein and has some wonderful stitching going round it all over in a slightly different shade...
Vetra's for example only seem to go up to a 48 which is sometimes too small for me...
This was sold as a 48-50...has already had one light wash and is still pretty stiff so thinking it'll last a heck of a long time... I'll be able to get another layer or 2 under here nae problem as well!
Still don’t understand French sizing tbh…when I’m a 54 in a Keydge..but I’ve a few now and had no problems sizewise!
It’s all covered buttons as well so a bit more “industrial” maybe but considering a new Vetra is around £120…splashing out on 1 Euro (around another 9 or 10 on P & P) is pretty good business if you like the style…
