^ Oh yeah!
^ not with those symmetrical 'shoulders' where the neck joins the body (similar to a Gibson 335),
the Starcaster has an asymmetric shape there (mimicking the Stratocaster shape).
Right, I thought it is the angle, but they really seem to be symmetrical. There are other indicators, that it isn't a Starcaster, too... Knobs etc. My mistake ;-)

/\ you guys rule! thanks CK and AB .....
P.S. Acton_Baby, I am still amazed at your Russ & Daughters comment from last week!
^ ha !
I've been lucky enough to work in New York a few times over the years and made some good friends,
one of them sent a Russ & Daughters platter to me as a welcome gift knowing I was arriving at breakfast time.
I was so impressed that I had to check the place out and now it's become one of my 'stations of the cross' whenever I'm in town, the 'nova and eggs' there is another fave.
It doesn't get much more Boom Years than Peanuts...

Threads like this are great for rubbing in my face how ignorant I am of just about everything. How you guys know so much detail about things like music, films, and clothes blows my mind.
