Practical math, at that.
Hello Bill,
They are cut slim for their collar. And the armhole is high. But length wise and sleeve length worked for me. I went for the 18 neck. Xxl from the US. There were massive variations within the size. The material seems tough. The finish reasonable. One problem is the roll when the collar is closed. It is rubbish. But open it seems to look ok. All in all good for the price. But nothing really compared to a Makers .Fizzy or anything else in that range. Casual fodder for sure, and the colours are great.
^ good to know, thanks.
BTW, with regards Makers sizing (of which I know nothing, so I'm probably about to embarrass myself). I saw a photo were the label stated 15 /3. Obviously a 15" collar size, but how does the "3" relate to the size; is it something to do with the chest measurement or sleeve length?
Have there been many/any major style changes in BBs Makers OCBDs over the years? Are these still available or are they used vintage items only?
Sorry for all the questions.......again. Ta, Bill.
Carrots n' ash. Mmmmmm, tasty.
With such strict adherence to food hygiene protocol you could probably get a job in the Subway sandwich bar in my town.
I AM a student you know, so the extra cash wouldn't hurt...

Straight class, Harpo.
Thanks guys.
No Ol, it's a cursive script makers (are they 80s-90s?), but it's got the little, tight-buttoning tab collar that you see on the early 60's ones - so it goes well with the suit. I really can't recommend Daroff Botany 500 suits of that vintage highly enough - beautifully made, quality with finesse.
Patrick, loving the new jacket sir - do they have numbers as well as names, like symphonies?
