Re: Ivy League style for today

It's from the John Lewis & Co line at JL, a year or 2 old now and the sizing was massive, a friends mum shrank it for me as it was an XS and was cut to a size 40!

http://www.johnlewis.com/men/john-lewis-co-/c600002792

They have a few in the sale at the minute, look good too, hope they have fixed the size issue - according to the size guide I should be a regular S.

Re: Ivy League style for today

You look good Billax, but I think you might look too good for the task at hand.  Patrick just looks like he's going to get down to business.  But you being in Durham is like me being in Atlanta.  We got hit pretty hard too, but my cold weather outerwear consists of chukka boots and a barn coat... maybe a knit cap or "beanie" if things are really serious.  If I were in Patrick's neck of the woods, I'd be ill equipped and up the (likely frozen) creek.

Interesting looking house too.  Who designed it if you don't mind me asking?

Shoveling or shooting you can rest assured the bi-swing will deliver the flexibility in movement a mountain man needs. I find it helps immeasurably with leaning over and tieing my boots or picking discarded pornographic magazines out of hedgerows

Re: Ivy League style for today

Looking at those pictures of Patrick and Billax has got me wishing for a proper winter where i could
don my Bean Norwegian and even the very same Alagash Bean boots as Billax that i bought last year.

Instead while temperatures have been mild in the UK we have been battered by seven storms with the heaviest rainfall for 250 years Ironically when the three states the above Gentlemen live in flew a union jack.

Indeed tonight the Thames is at its highest level for 60 years.Poor Woofboxer who lives in a London suburb that has been flooded.Oh for a bit of snow! Tally ho gentlemen of the Americas and believe it or not i am jealous of the clothes and weather.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Just catching up with a lot on here and Billax/Patrick...I salute you both..always have a great look fellas!
Like the look of that Bean coat Billax...

I can report too since I was last on here that I FINALLY bought a non Levi's pair of jeans....
Unfortunately they were Carhartt Original Fit Double Front Logger dungaree numbers which may sit high on the waist but the rest would be downhill I'd wager for folk on here...
Still - made me v happy as I lived n these 20 odd years ago and the only pair I had left were a tad too tight...

Agree with AC - would love some colder weather over here...it truly is a God awful Winter in England...and a living hell for many poor sods...

Woof - Gimme yer size and we'll have a whip round for ya for as pair of these:

^ That should be a Where's Waldo with lots of Bops in flannels and flatcaps at the beach or a crowded medieval castle.
