Not me guv, the last person who used the 'J' word was Worried Man. He's a proper villain, has candles in his living room and everything.

Impertinence? High praise indeed!
I agree though that the forum is in excellent shape.
It was just so people who were interested in the Andy B saga could know for at least some part why he turned on the forum. Still it's all academic now it is what it is.

Aye, Derbyshire.
Very interesting and hopefully the project will reach full fruition and distribution on BBC4.
By the way, the use of 50s jazz music may not be such a copyright nightmare as first envisaged. There's lots of jazz music being released on EU independent labels where the copyright is somewhat grey. There are different copyright laws in the US and Europe and there's a quite a number of independent jazz labels exploiting this.
The latest updates via Andy Trad its really just the same trailer though.

Film out late spring by Jason (Garmsville) Jules with a little help from his Friends.
Two comments on the GQ page already, one from Jim and one from Jason Jules' missus.
I'm quite interested in it I hope it really goes to pick JS' brain

Good input from Roy, he should get in on the film as a source of historic photos and get interviewed.
I'm going to try and get interviewed with my historic anecdotes on buying from the J.Simons webshop.
Sounds like a good project. I lived in Kew during the 80s and used to shop in Richmond at The Ivy Shop then. I ended up working just round the corner. Hopefully Potter's music shop will get a mention which was a couple of shops up from The Ivy, Mr Potter always had some good jazz LPs to peruse after getting the latest ivy purchase. Around that time ('82-87) JS was selling Hathaway shirts, 501s, Bass and he started bringing in US Russell Athletic sweatshirts. I loved that place!
Can I recommend Rajput on Goldhawk Rd. They cook without ghee. Makes for a much more comfortable 24hrs post meal.
