Well, it's my second encounter with this plane.  I was driving on the freeway yesterday and saw it flying about 10 miles from my house.  I knew it was a peculiar plane from a distance.  I kept my eye on it and as it got closer I was damned... "That's a dang B-17!!"  ...ball turret dangling and everything.  I live very close to Dobbins Air Force base, and I figured it was going there, as it was headed in that direction.  At one point it banked hard left to what looked like about 45%. 

So anyway, today I went out back to grab something out of my shed, and I heard this distant, distinct drone.  I didn't think much of it because I hear planes all the time.  I'm walking back to the house and the drone is much louder now and that thing came right into view over the trees.  The sight and sound of it stopped me dead in my tracks.  Those things are just awesome.

That would be too perfect.
