ALSO:
1947 LVC BIG E 501XX
Shrunk from 32x34 to 30x31.
Colour is still dark, I'd say one-wash mid blue.

Is anyone interested in a wool CPO shirt in grey colour with a shawl type collar? Like this one but in grey to fit 38ish chest:

Brown herringbone tweed now sold.

Yuca, right?
Nope. A guy from Norway who signed up to the site especially to buy the jacket.
Good for him. ... and you! These Norweejuns are into the ivy huh?
That's a handsome coat.
Beautiful - but very short arms at 21".
Indeed, that's why I'm selling it. There's approx. 2" + to let out at the sleeves (I can offer a more accurate measurement when I'm home) which could surely add length to the arms. It's likely a fairly easy and seamless alteration. The measurements are otherwise bang on.
It's fully lined btw; single-breasted with a single vent; side darts, three button closure and three decorative (non-working) buttons on the sleeve cuffs; two interior pockets, no outer chest pocket, and two outer flap pockets at the hips. The cashmere is soft and thick, even and substantial throughout; beautifully preserved. This is the type of overcoat that will last a man's lifetime.
Btw, I'd be willing to knock off around $25 for the sleeve alteration - if anyone is interested, send me a PM and I'll have my wife confirm the length of fabric to be let out, since I'm currently out of town. That'd be $175 total, shipped. A veritable steal for a handcrafted cashmere overcoat of this quality!
