ocbd - always the best in 'back to basics ivy' if you don't mind the expression. and the beautiful brutalist building in the back is a bonus!

Those do look good Ox.  What happened to the NOS pair?  As long as you don't look like "the kids that were always bullied in school."  smile

Re: Ivy League style for today

Thanks fellas. The pair in the pic is from J.Crew and are about 5 years old. I like them a lot, but the current fit (or last one I tried) is about two inched shorter in rise which is pretty uncomfortable. My other issue is that the thigh can be a little too tight when sitting and the leg opening is a little wide so they may resemble a bootcut at times. I will be revisiting J.Crew again. My fingers are crossed.

WM, I am lazy (and my tailor is an hour away) and they need hemmed. That bullied remark killed me.

Oliver - People LOVE these socks, haha.

I mean, I did get bullied, but that's beside the point.

What is the jacket Sir Billax?  Surprisingly slim lapel for you.  I like it.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Thanks, gentlemen! My usual range of lapel widths is 3 1/8" to 3 1/2". Somehow, there is a big difference between 3 1/8' (which nobody comments on) and this 2 7/8" lapel, which is shockingly slim to me - and others. Jacket is from Lands' End. 3 Patch 2 Flap pockets in LE's 42R tailored fit.
