Amazing selection as always.
Remembering the debate about proper tux shoes? THOSE are the right choice for the stylish Ivy Leaguer:

And this is some killer jacket:

Unfortunately I have to save for my own house (yes, right) and for a Fitz chambray as well as a polo top from Daniele' new venture (a Mod-item, nothing too Ivy)
this hat is also great:

I did post in the sticky For Sale thread why we had de stickied a lot of topics - it was just too crowded.

Its no problem at all to us if you bump your thread every so often.
In fact its a good idea - just don't bump it every day.
I'd suggest once a week is fine.
It seems that either Etsy or Typhoid Jones is no longer accepting Paypal?
I assume it's just T.J. as I bought a book this morning and can still use PP on Etsy.

Yeah. I made the decision to go with direct checkout ever since the bulk of my online revenue has started to come from my Etsy shop. Besides that, Etsy's payment and billing system really makes doing my taxes much easier. Dealing with eBay and PayPal's separate fee structures and billing systems can be a nightmare, lol. Either way, I do apologize for any inconvenience that my decision has caused any of you. I really do appreciate the continued support that the members of Talk Ivy have shown me over the years. And I look forward to helping you with your vintage menswear needs in the future. Thanks! -M-
You take checks? I only use checks.
Excellent. HAHA
Those NOS Florsheim Royals are incredible!
It's true they are ahem competitive. Tbh though if they were 8E I might have invested a year's salary. That guy in Germany charges big bucks and seems to get away with it, and I've not seem any of his come with bags etc.
As always, the market will respond.
My heart rate sure responded when I saw them. Good to see T Jones back in operation at full steam with some very lovely inventory.
Hey Guys!
I'm not sure if any of you are familiar with vcleat.com, but David (the admin) recently wrote a blog post RE: the vintage Florsheim Royal Imperials that I have listed in my Etsy shop.

He's into vintage American footwear - Florsheim, FootJoy, Nettleton, etc. and his site is a wealth of information. There's some interesting posts over there and he seems to know his stuff.
Thanks!
