A post about English and Italian stereotypes generates a response from a newish member saying four in hand tie knots are "an abomination" and you have leeway to do your own thing.
This is all too much for rules guardian arkirshner who takes umbrage, castigating the relative newbie for insulting forum members, but adding that said newbie is too ignorant to insult. It goes on from there...
Understandably, this all ties in neatly to Winston Churchill and World War 2.

No. But here it makes perfect sense. The look wouldn't be complete if his stupid skull and crossbones embellishment was obscured. What you can't see, is that he has another 6 tie clips hidden under the vest, spaced equidistantly along the tie, to hold it securely in place.
