Oh, Virgilio's will make a martini anyway you want. They are easily on par with Duke's in London, which is pretty much the standard globally. I'm very particular on my martini's as well.
Look's like the Captain Tony's pictures are all from Fantasy Fest. It's a shithole for sure, but it's the actual place Hemingway hung out if you ever want to see it.

Must be somewhere in Georgia, or Mississippi.

It's my all time favorite Top song my man.

/\ great stuffage WM ... an excellent meal, did the Waldorf have some ambrosia in it, was it the black-eyed peas that did you in? So jealous. Do you usually order that combination or do you vary your order? How late will they be open tonight? I am missing the Southern food so badly I could cry.
It was just a classic Waldorf. I omitted the fried okra and mashed potatoes that were also on the table. They also serve classics like tomato aspic. Their weekday hours are only 5 - 9. I think noon - 10 on weekends. The Colonnade is also known for serving Thanksgiving dinner, and that's a long-standing tradition for many local families.
To be honest, what did me in was the lone sweet roll left in the basket AFTER I finished my bowl of ice cream. I couldn't let it go to waste.
Goddamn it WM, I am so f'ing hungry now.
I didn't see any touring bands that night, unless that was the original members of Dion and the Belmonts at the table behind us. The Clermont Lounge is pretty much the other end of the spectrum. And you know what I mean by "other end". Whoa!! Make sure to get some attention from Blondie. Her routine involves punching you in the face with her breasts and finishing up with her grand finale - crushing a beer can in her cleavage. I've seen this first hand.
