"Like a lick of hair that won't stay down.."
Oh a boy can still dream ha ha...
Give the Keydge a stern talking to Senor & leave it in the corner for a few days...
Keydges have deffo changed on the cotton front in recent years...
I much prefer that peach chino type they now do...cavalry cotton twill I'm not so keen on..
He he...that's a wonderful image Senor...
"Take that..you French piece o' shit......"..."And that....yeah...how ya like me now....."
Seems its best to consider a Keydge as a slightly upmarket cardi.
Not in the ghetto
Only got a cord one myself, but I guess that might fall into the cotton category - so far so good, and very versatile.
Ha! They all need a bit o' discipline, don't they?
A jacket should know its place, else it'll get itself a bunch o' fives.
My wool Keydge is a bit oversized so I would size down if I bought another one. It is a dry clean only but I am thinking of treating it to a warm water bath and see what happens. It will probably all end in tears. My missus will probably add it to a long list of 'grounds for divorce' if she finds out what I am planning. I would wash (not dry clean) a wool cardigan so why not a baggy jacket?
My Pendleton Topsman had to go through the machine a few times. 'Hand wash' cycle at 30°c. It's all perfectly do-able.
Bon Chance Robbie..and even if it don't work out, you've the satisfaction of beating the bejesus out of it afterwards...now known as DOING A SENOR....
Just draw the curtains first eh Gents....
No one mentions the Keydge trousers and/or suit.
Any good?
Good option for a cotton suit?
Good news on 'shrinking the Keydge'. I took a large glass of malt whisky to steady the nerves, then I ran a luke warm bath and added the jacket. (no detergent) I left it for a while (and had another glass) then I treated it to some gentle pummelling before removing it and placing flat on a towel (as you might a jumper). Later I put it on a hanger to dry overnight and hey presto I have a slightly smaller better fitting jacket that didn't even need an iron. It worked!
