You could grow corn between the wales on that jacket. That's some chunky 'ish.

Very good.  The Bopped collar is a nice touch.

Pretty warm here today too.  Good stuff Oxnards.

And I do like the Red Wings and those plush socks Mercer.

Re: Ivy League style for today

I'm sure there will be some grumbles about wearing a Barbour Ox, however I think it looks great if in a more Trad than Ivy way? Mine was inherited through my sisters boyfriend after he lost some weight and determined never to go back up- plus my shoulders/ chest are much broader than his and it was always a little too big for him. I love the way they mould to you, even if I'm sure the quality isn't what it once was?

Mine's used for working in the garden, although when we were in Greenwich CT it went hand in hand with the Land Rover Discovery....

Re: Ivy League style for today

Oh, aren't you a saucy one.  You know, we split months ago, but you've just got to keep on and on and on with it.  I really couldn't care less if you start cyber shacking up with Mercer.  I'm sure you'll just love to put some of his socks on your hands and do a little dance for him.  But as was the case while we were involved, you just can't drop things and get on with just enjoying the relationship.  Beware Mercer!!  AC's little tricks become apparent very quickly and then once he's had his "fun" with you, he's on to his next little interest (read EMOTIONAL VICTIM).

Re: Ivy League style for today

Armchaired and Worried Man, y'all are hysterical!

Armchaired, I'm afraid I don't own a pair of flannels at this time. Aren't they meant to be dress pants, though? Bluchers would look a bit "off" with them.

However, I love blucher mocs with khakis too, and I'd wear 'em with khakis if my sole pair of khakis looked better (they're now dull-looking and fraying). I'm delaying getting a new pair because I'm losing weight, and I don't see the point of getting a new pair that currently fits me if, in a short time, they'll be too big. I'm waiting until I'm down a pants size before buying new khakis. Of course, then I'll need new jeans too! :-P

Re: Ivy League style for today

Mocs with flannels?  See, this is what I'm talking about.  He's already trying to trick you into spending $300 on some O'Connell's flannels, only for you to post them wearing them with your mocs, at which time he'll just start criticizing your pics mercilessly: "Oh, you should never wear mocs with flannels Mercer, that's just so ridiculous."
