Re: Ivy League style for today

Looking good Rooster.  I think some could criticize the lack of variation in color, and I'd usually caution against wearing trousers and shirt of the same color, but I actually like the overall drabness of this outfit.  What color shoes were you wearing?

Stuck in front of a computer, with little chance of going out due to a deadline.

So I've cranked up the heating and I'm dressing for the beach,
Sperry CVOs, off-white.
Sperry 'no-show' socks.
Pike Brothers '60's Roamer' jeans.
Reyn Spooner 'reverse print' button-down (a recent eBay find).

On the hi-fi
Blood and Fire Records sampler cd
Throbbing Gristle - 20 Jazz Funk Greats
Hassell and Eno - Possible Worlds

In my hi-ball glass
Mountgay Rum and D+G Grape Soda

Lovely stuff Oli and its a bit of a Sensory overload !

Love those OC cords, in fact i recently picked up a pair of  deadstock Leesure cords in the same shade.
I will pair them with a grey Shetland as i think its a great look , thanks.

Oliver, impeccable offerings.  I seriously like it all.  And again, the settings and scenery are mesmerizing.  One question... What would you have done if that Tucan squirted all over your new Gloverall?

The shaggy dog is J.Press (for some reason that grey shetland pops up in every picture and makes it seem as though I packed a single outfit!) and the rest are O'Connell's.

You're right about that, Ox.  It's not often Ollie posts such nice ass pictures.  smile

Re: Ivy League style for today

Btw, an "only in Japan" moment - we walked into a random cafe in Osaka for a shot of espresso and there was a kangaroo hopping around the room. It peed on the floor and then a giant tortoise crawled right over it's tail. Just as I was thinking it couldn't get any wierder, I ordered my coffee and a snowy owl landed on my table. Later that night I got hit on by two different gay Japanese dudes in succession outside of a takoyaki joint. Neither spoke any English but one seemed to really dig my tweed jacket!

...but ALMOST, Ox.  Just kidding.

I like the fox tie.  Shirt detail if you don't mind?

Re: Ivy League style for today

Are those the horizontal cords Oliver?  I can't really make it out.  I love that you seem to be looking at the architecture, and not the art displayed on the wall.  I'd probably be doing the same thing.
