Re: Ivy League style for today

Is that a modern Viyella with the fused collar, Harpo? I picked up a bunch of them in the generic S/M/L sizing from O'Connell's a year or two ago but I find they don't really fit right around my neck and the roll disappeared after one or two washes. I considered trying to return or exchange them at Cable Car Clothiers but I've tossed them in the country weekend pile instead. I'm envious of those vintage Levi's cords!

Keep an eye out on Etsy for the fair isles. I had the perfect muted '60s fair isle vest in my watch list for over a year but never thought twice about ordering as it's not really my style. I just checked and sure enough, it's since been sold.

Rooster, good look man. I'd say those chinos could use an inch in length though; they're looking pretty short even for high waters. I'm usually not a fan of cable knits but I dig that a lot.

In a bit of a rush, but I'll just say I don't see anything I don't like here.

Tom that's a crackin' Squire. Those loden playboys are high up on the buy list. I wore my snuff suedes hiking through Joshua Tree last month expecting the worst (I wasn't prepared) and they surprisingly worked out alright!

Yup, they are a grey colour, very versatile - often wear instead of black shoes. They got damaged a few years back by some clown in a local pub who splashed bleach onto them - to say I was mortified isn't close - to be told by the greasy smarmy sh*te bag it was my own fault for wearing fancy shoes nearly prompted me to swing my helmet at him - I swiftly bid a retreat before I was done for assault.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Who the hell packs bleach to a pub??

I would've opted for the assault... or gotten Judge Judy involved!
