I thank ya kindly, Harry.  The cord jackets have been a hot item around here this fall / winter.

First things I usually ask a girl when I'm on a date are, "What is your stance on corduroy trousers?" and "Darts, or no darts?"

Another hum dinger squire, currently in cords and black tee having scrubbed the bathroom, cooking room and steam cleaned the oven! It's a dirty job but gotta be done.

All good stuff Martyn. Love the tartan shirt under grey sweat look.

Thanks Woofboxer.

That's a lovely shirt Turrentine, not sure I could pull it off though but a yellow candy stripe is definitely on the radar.

Re: Ivy League style for today

I think there's enough contrast to make it work. Maybe just the photo but the jacket looks a tad long or maybe you could iron more of a roll into that lapel? On the other hand you could be trying to minimise a bulge under the armpit?

Re: Ivy League style for today

Thanks for the feedback, Woof.  You're right about the dead lapel.  It is a legit 3-button blazer without any vestige of ever rolling.  I may see if I can work some magic with the steam iron.   This jacket is on the longer side, but it's still within my margin of error.
