Actually the bottoms may be a bit small for cuffs - we'll see.
Its interesting reading that review of the hertlings i posted ,as they would lead you to the view these pants are tight.
However when we understand that the numbskull like most modern fellas doesn't know where his actually waist is.
its then obvious the reason his pants were tight is because he is obviously wearing pants that are way to small
and is wearing them below his natural waist.
Rubbish. You sound like the sort of internet fantasist who in real life has never actually worn 5ps prior to murdering a friend on a boat.
What size are your pair and what width are the bottoms? The style itself suits cuffs perfectly imo, providing - and this is the crucial point - the bottoms are wide enough. Otherwise we get into mid 60s youthwear territory, which I'm a little uncomfortable with.
For anyone still considering these they fit small for LL Bean (i.e. true-to-size)... I ordered in my normal LL Bean vanity size and they're too tight at the waist. If anyone is a true 32 and wants to save on UPS/customs hassles please let me know before I return them. Width at the ankle on my 32 x 30 pair is 8 1/8"
Mine arrived today and they are too bloody big !
On a brighter note i wore my leesure cords today and they fit perfectly.
Dem cords is mighty cords - in Lee Leens today myself.
Mine finally arrived today, and fit perfectly - but I'm surprised that they are 'dry clean only'.
I'd take that with a pinch of salt. I'm probably going to cold wash mine. Mine arrived today, and I think I like them. I'm going to cuff them though - I know, I've only got myself to blame if it all goes horribly wrong.
Feel like a summer weight.
Got mine today and am satisfied, the rise is truly magnificent. My pair came up at a bit large - the 34 waist is getting on for 35. So they'll need a bit of alteration, plus tapering to get them down to 8". I'll be paying no attention whatsoever to the dry-clean-only label.
Wait... how wide are yours at the ankle Sal? Maybe I did get mine tapered a bit after all.
17 inches exactly.
My wife thinks I look like a dorky grandpa in them.
Bought the 32x30
Waist=15.75
Inseam=29.5
Opening=8.25
Due to the slightly small waist and a few too many buckets of clams and drinks of late, they are slightly tight. I don't mind the inseam coming in short. I'd typically want 29.75 anyway.
Not cuffing. The fabric lays well and the opening isn't too wide.
yeah weirdly even though mine were 34 inches dead on in measurement - they're too right for me (and I'm 34 in everything) - maybe a fit thing
Got mine of Meehawl, rise is up around my armpits, but need to be shortened and tapered a bit.
