His name is Martin Starr
I think they are s/s 2015 range WM - chap I spoke to was from a Northampton shoe family and had worked for White and Co, Sanders etc. He had a lot of knowledge but he talked a fair bit of guff too. He said Weejuns have been made in the Dominican Republic since the 50s, but as I understand it was after they closed the Wilton factory in 98 that it all went south?
WHAT?! I've NEVER seen any old Weejuns made anywhere other than the USA, or at least that's what it states on the shoe. "Made in USA"
Who remembers when you could get Weejuns from the Freeman's catalogue back in the mid nineties ?

AH... Tricky sneaks.
In the UK people are going to get hung up on the casual and toff associations...after getting off the train with the West Ham faithful back from Bristol the other week it was like a fox hunt had turned up in Paddington station

yes, barbour seems to be all the rage among the (uk) footy lot these days.. clone island turned to toff stanleys.
..gets coat
You guys are barbourous!
Confession time. I have a Barbour golf jacket, scarf and a flat cap. I never wear them together, though. I love dark olive and the scarf, made in Scotland, is to me a thing of beauty. Oh, and I support West Ham.

Nice Ox and its great that you have reclaimed your turf.
Always thought the shawl collar with a tie was a great look.
I thought Barbours were ivy? They sell them at J. Press, O'Connell's, etc. What would be a more ivy hunting jacket then? Filson or Woolrich Mackinaws?
