Re: Ivy League style for today

Oliver,

The vodka tonics wouldn't have been my first choice, but the bar selection was limited and drinks were courtesy of the lady, so I just said "I'll have what you're having."  But they were strong enough, and so when I went to drain the lizard I just grabbed two more on the way back to the seats.

Peppard is resplendent in that movie.  During the scene where he dumps 2E and he's picking a jacket out of the closet of about 20 jackets, Mrs. WM looks over at me, knowing exactly what I'm thinking: "Holy hell, look at all those great jackets!"

PM sent regarding house, so as to not bore everyone.  smile

Seconded! Great looking suit Harpo. I like the contrast with the red tie and I'm gonna try it out with my olive tweed suit.

In fact, Jeff, Stan and I were wondering when we could arrange a cuddle session with you.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Thank you chaps. The suit is by "Executeen" (that's right - it's suitable for both executives and teenagers). It's still got the size ticket in the pocket which says the style is "University", so I think they were going for the Ivy market.

The deep red tie really seems to compliment the dark olive - just like Jeffs trousers and sweater above, which looks great.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Ta think that, at one time, a company would intend for a teenager to wear a suit like THAT!  HA!

Yep - classier times. It was made for a store in Portland called "Rosenblatt's".
