Double Monk (Melbourne) soon to get St Crispin's handmade shoos

Edward Green trunk show is April 17th and 18th.

St Crispins are soon to be stocked in Melbourne.

I'll be attending the trunk show for a look only, but will seriously be thinking of buying some St Crispins shoos because l have wanted a pair for years.

They also sell the burgundy shell cordovan longwing from Alden.

I went to an Edward Green trunk show a few weeks, had a great time. I didn't buy anything as I'd done to much on clobber in the weeks before. Had a good chat with the sales man about bespoke shoes which has kinda put me off the idea. Details of which are here; http://rhythmshaker.tumblr.com/post/113013709241/edward-green-trunk-show

Be interested to hear your opinions chaps...

Saw my first ever pair of St Crispins today. They looked to be good quality and were absolutely beautiful. If l can get a good fit l think l might order a green antiqued norvegese constructed wholecut. Actually, l wouldn't mind getting a few pairs of these shoes because the styling in person is really good. I never really liked them until l saw them in the flesh.

They might be almost twice the price of Edward Green, but they are twice as nice too. Definitely want a green pair,a tan pair and a brown pair. No black St Crispins for me this time. Could a red St Crispins also be on the cards?...we shall see.

I tell ya fellas, these types of things keep men awake at night. Very VERY exciting.

St Crispins also do a MTM last service where they can tweek the lasts and do a trial shoe.

Pretty pumped up about getting me some St Crispins actually. They do very nice browns.

Roughly $2,200. A bit of a ball breaker, but sometimes you've just gotta suck it up and be a man and do it anyway. If you cry about it like a girl you will never own a pair.
