Re: Ivy League style for today

First festival of the summer out of the way ("Body and Soul" in Ireland, very hippy with a 'knit your own museli' vibe)
and now my first proper day off in weeks...

Dexter beefroll loafers 'sans' socks,
LVC 'wheat' bedfords,
Vintage Sears 'hooped' t-shirt (off white tee with ochre and navy hoops),
Sunpocket sunglasses.
A madras Catalina windbreaker on hand if it gets nippy later.

A Spotify- Lalo Schifrin - playlist on my mobile media device,
a very Happy Birthday today to Lalo !

/\  very jaunty Ackers ... vintage Sears striped t-shirt ftw!

and also: the electric Miles-like tablas and electric piano on the Dirty Harry theme are so cool ... Enter the Dragon is my other fave of his, karate screams throughout, relentless wah-wah guitar, and more of that tasty electric piano .... but the karate screams kill me ... they must have been laughing at that session ....

I think you've done well. Pattern matching is a fine art and I think you're on the money here. I would ideally go for a light blue shirt for more contrast between shirt and trousers. Also harmonising the the blues in the jacket. Love that jacket!

Top half looks great Joey. The jacket is lovely, although i wouldn't wear those strides with it.

That jacket looks good, Joey.  Looks to fit well.

Dunno who the ladies are. Incidentally I was participating in a drumming workshop rather than randomly standing around playing cowbell.

Re: Ivy League style for today

You haven't been here long have you? Every summer I post photos of me at drumming sessions. I'm normally holding a cowbell. Not the most exciting photos in the world, but they do have authenticity.

Yuca bangs out a little son clave and the ladies come running.  Dressing well probably helps.

Also a good example of the soft khaki method, as opposed to my pressed and creased method.  They look good.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Mine were pressed when I left the house. I am tempted to experiment with a crease.

I like this Yuca though I do prefer the notion of you stood on your own playing a cowbell in a park.

Joey, you kind of remind me of a young Allen Ginsberg.
