Jeremy Corbyn's vests are of more interest to most newspapers these days.
Though he seems to be wearing a T shirt style while the ones he allegedly buys from his local market are singlet style.

I thought you guys might hate that.
What really steams my broccoli is the oft-repeated idea that a suit is somehow "uncomfortable"; that dressing nicely is the modern version of a hair shirt, worn for no other reason than the demands of some higher power.

There is nothing wrong with jeans and T-shirt... Its just people being completely ignorant to the idea of what to wear and when. The herd mentality seriously distorts any sensible balanced view of how to dress given what circumstances you find yourself in.

The herd mentality is not to dress in suit, or jacket and tie in work now. Most professions have ditched the en masse wearing of suits for well over a decade and a half ago now. It could also be accused of being part of the dumbing down process and aid to replacing you with a cheap, cheery and seemingly well qualified Indian, who in most cases would proverbial in their pants if they had to wear a jacket and a tie for work.
If you're already dressing like your replacement, then from a visual perspective, there's going to be no dumbing down visually if you already dress like
them.
A cynical view perhaps, but nonetheless, has some credance in these circumstances.
I actually don't like suits, I much prefer a sport jacket or blazer with trousers.
