On one my escapes from the mind blowing boredom that working life can be, I discovered this gent; Aldo Colonetti. This is my kind thing. His look is comfortable but sharp. Classic but fresh. It's the modern frames and tailored clothing that makes all the difference. This is how I want to rock the look in 2015 and not appear dated.

On the shipping list is some gingham like in the top photo and some spread collars.
What's the thing of having one collar point sticking out, he does that in too many of the photos for it to be unintentional?
Totally.
An affectation and an advertisement. Showing off the unlined collars on bespoke shirts and unbuttoning the working cuffs. I'll forgive his Sprezzatura and vanity... As I suffer/enjoy the same defects/traits...
I think this would be better served over on the Wardrobe? Not that I dont find it interesting mind.
Oops my bad didnt see the bd n that...understand why you posted it here now...
Carry on!

Well dressed indeed - but a little European for me, not a criticism just not my thing.
Regular readers may remember while others on here were obsessing over nipple tickling waistbands and shirts made out of cheese cloth GW was wearing his Ivy Inspired Italian and getting slated for it a good two years ago.
Shirts made of cheese cloth?

haha
You shouldn't make shirts out of cheese cloth.
Fromage frays.
See what I did there?
Not to mention the pungent aroma by midday.
Meh, my shirts smell like that anyway. What with them being vintage and all, I figure I might ruin them if I wash them.

Can you imagine a similar tumblr for the UK of what British industrialists are wearing?
^ I loved watching the Troubleshooter program.
Aye, the one on the aircraft carrier was excellent!
He went to Double II shirts, he should have got them doing a unfused button down

1. I had to Google that one, anyway I missed it at the time.
2. Now I know where that smell comes from.
3. I had no idea, and (assuming you're for real) now I'm certainly glad he's no longer around these parts. What an arse.
