Re: Ivy League style for today

wow clearly not in with the in crowed  & don"t buy my shoes were the in crowed go thought this place was a forum open to all  (interested  in ivy) its all about the moderators view + a few cronies
the double standards on here are a joke i.e. verr gate bop jumps on it & wants it moved to the wardrobe but the captains posts are fawned over who's look is hardly ivy by a long stretch by the way i like both
seams 1 egomaniac been replaced by 4 or 5 .

Re: Ivy League style for today

My guess is it's Spammy Ambrose because literally no one else can be bothered to go to the effort... to defend Verr gate vs Cpt ..Cpt. posts some seriously heavy Americana looks, Verr I thought was quite modern menswear, and like I said a few times now, I never said Verr looked bad. That's about the size of it. A mountain out of a mole hill because I already had half the forum.on my back from a seperate thread...but this is how it goes...Im not sure the forum is in a very good place at the moment. It certainly feels like the wasp's nest has been kicked recently but...weve been here countless times before.

Nice outfit though, Chief.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Enjoying the Chief's Keydge action too! I love the way they can look casually smart - like CB's rig - or comfortably slouchy, as with the crumpled charcoal brown needlecord I'm wearing today.

Just to be clear, however, I'm not looking to reignite another of the periodic Keydge wars that seem to have broken out here down the years...

Cheers, Bundy. There were Keydge wars?

Have you got a picture of the needle cord?

Re: Ivy League style for today

I think Acton has a pretty clear rundown of which ones are the best vintage...there has been a lot of variations with Keydge. I think my ramie one was definitely a low point. The ones I hoped were the new ones which were longer etc.. were actually old stock. Which was a shame

No worries. Haven't seen a needle cord Keydge so was curious.
