Re: Ivy League style for today

I still can't believe that Sierra designs seem to have stopped making their 60/40 parka (couple of stragglers left on site) - to have a product that's iconic like that and still being copied and to stop making it doesn't make any sense to me in terms of brand history etc.

I still want to get an orange one for deer hunting trips in the mountains - or maybe to the chip shop if it's a bit fresh outside.

Top half looks great, lower half needs sorting.

I do understand you're not looking for a prim and pressed Ivy Look, more a relaxed, ruffled kinda deal, if I where you I'd closely follow Patrick's posts? Not only does he share your profession but he also manages to look sharp as surgical steel while looking like he doesn't care a damn.

Patrick is definitely someone I look at for that style and I agree that the bottom half needs to be better put together. I need a few inches off those cords for sure. Thanks, man!

I'd rather be honest and give you credit where its due (ie. the top half) and a bit of constructive criticism on the other areas. Find a decent Alterations Seamstress or Tailor and get them to work. I'm lucky mine 'gets' what I want?
