Yeah.  Gotta agree with the A-C.

That's a beautiful suitcase.  I'll have to show you my blue marbleized Sammy sometime.

WM and Armchaired: I'm totally with you. I feel like I've generally got the top half looking decent, but chinos are a real problem. My gut and my legs should be on two different people so if I pull my trousers up too high I look like Homer Simpson. I'm trying to work all that out. I appreciate the suggestions, guys!

Re: Ivy League style for today

My biggest pants problem is the weird sludge I have to clean out of them on a daily basis.

More pants around the waist, less around the ankles.  Should help out all around.

Re: Ivy League style for today

It can be hard work if you're legs are thin..because lets say you get a 13 inch rise on say a 38 trouser or what ever you might take...I bet the arse and thigh will be quite full if they're a trad cut...might be better to get a size down and let out to your waist to get the other elements of the trouser correct...or try loose some weight..easier said than done..but after I went down a few sizes on my waist it was a lot easier sorting out the short leg long torso thing...my diet plan is available through registered practioners in your area...only trouble is my registered practioner and personal trainer  in your area is WM. ..and he has rather unorthodox methods should I say

Don't answer!!!!

They call me occasionally and I just ignore them.

Looks good.  You look good in a hat.  I look like a goof in a hat.

What's this hat wearing like clowns? Bop, that does not suit you. Hats are something georgeous, but worn like that everybody who does looks like some redneck deranged village idiot...

Sorry. That had to be said - nice hat, but... too small I suppose. Should sit on the head not on the hair...

Re: Ivy League style for today

Tell it to Frank!

Like I said in the other thread, that hat does fit but is tight...however that isnt the reason for wearing it off the back..I just liked it like that with what I was wearing...wearing it forward with an overcoat makes sense...but this is a slack style for the terminally loose.. Id say I also turn the brim up..but Im afraid to anger you further.

Re: Ivy League style for today

No problem with turning the brim up... I mostly do that myself (not always, depends on the whole outfit). The chap on the left also looks... blaaah.
