Green down vests seem to be a bit thin on the ground lately, I could only find a waxed cotton one from L.L.Bean and the one from Landsend OCBD wrote about. Penfield have one that is too light in colour for what I'd wear it with.

^ wow chuck that's amazing if you still have a copy, I've only seen a microfiche copy of that.
That article's been one of my source texts (along with a few issues of The Face and Blitz magazines from that period) for a blog piece I've been working on.
I've also made a few contacts in Italy and they have been incredibly helpful giving it some context.
Hopefully I'll get it finished before the end of the year, but the more I find out the fascinated I've become as it's got all the elements of a classic youth cult -
clothes - fighting - football - underage drinking- drugs and a distinctly homo-erotic under pinning.
