^You can try avoiding comparable cases - but you are not fooling anyone.

^ There are similarities and if you think otherwise then it is up to you to prove it rather than claim comparisons are silly.
I don't see the similarities at all. Vanunu was a technician who betrayed his former employer and attempted to sell photographs for personal gain and confirm to the world that Israel had nuclear weapon capabilities. He was a political activist, but he wasn't a traitor as such, the information he handed over to The Times was not sensitive enough to get people killed, it may even had been beneficial to Israel to let the world know their capabilities to defend themselves with the ultimate deterrent. Did he deserve to get kidnapped and a long sentence and conditions to this day? Well, he certainly deserved some punishment.
Philby was a traitor to his country and his class. A rat and his end befitted him: lonely days and evenings spent in a bloated vodka haze
^ you are one who is handing out unique 'bastard' status to Philby and dismissing similar claims about the traitor Pollard. It is up to you to make a case for Pollard.

Anyone want to take bets on this one?
Kingy,Pollards espionage didnt come to light until 1985 and the Vanunu affair was from 1986.
Nothing to do with the OSS,Yale and spy Ivy ,so keep this crap away from this thread .
^ since when was Kim Philby anything to do with Ivy anyway?
He wouldve given you some good leads
^ Oh man! I've never seen that picture!
