Bloody hell, it's Woody Allen! Joking apart I'm not sure the socks work, really need to be wigwams to pull this look off.

Ps. I have skinny legs too.

I am starting to worry a bit though Derm, about your Blazer problem, maybe you need to start looking at how many Blazers you're buying a week, maybe.even a day? How long is it since you last brought a Blazer, do you keep count of them, do you know how Blazers you had last night?

I'm starting to worry we might need to stage an intevention here? Of course we tried that with Oli, but there were so many different kinds of items its difficult to know of he's in recovery yet?

I've been meaning to get some wigwams anyways. Are they lighter weight? My biggest concern with wool socks is that they will overheat my feet during the scorching California summer.

Re: Ivy League style for today

There is the remote possibility that someday, for the first time in my life since childhood, I might again wear shorts. I have learned never to say never. If and when I do, I would tend to go either sockless or with ankle-high socks, with sneakers or boat shoes.

Thanks WM, that's a handsome rig your wearing too. O the glasses etsy, no markers mark, really cheap. Loved the shape so I took a chance, worked out great.

Re: Ivy League style for today

It's an old Arrow Cum Laude circa 1960s.  A really lightweight, 100% cotton, sanforized number.  It's almost like a poplin or broadcloth or some such fabric.

And they say red and green should never be seen!

I always play around with those colours..great if tones are right. Lovely warm shade to it.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Well, it's more olive than true green, which helps break down the nonsense.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Really great shirt, WM. That color/pattern would be killer in a Viyella blend.
