I am interested too, as I have never been able to try one on...the prices made me laugh so hard I was asked to leave the shop.
Fit and cut seems to vary from shirt to shirt, but the fabrics they use are consistently good.
They do proper half sleeves in their short sleeve ranges which is rare.
I've always picked them up at a discount, nice shirts but not worth the wedge at full price imho.
Cheers Ackers...Ill jist have to look over the size measurements I guess and see how they pan out individually..
In other news anyone tried out the southwick shirts at JS?
^ I should have been more precise in my description, I have two oxfords same style, fit and size (according to the labels) from the same year and they are completely different shirts ( armhole size, depth of yoke and length of the shirt) both nice but I wouldn't buy again without trying them on.
The Southwick shirts at JS are very similar to the shirts Cable Car Clothiers sell under their own label, quite a full fit but not quite as full as classic makers territory.
On a similar tip, got my new BB 'unlined' buttondown in the post today, not that impressed, it's neither 'fish nor fowl' -a nicer collar than of recent but the fit don't feel right and the cloth quality isn't great ( particularly at the price, as its the same cloth as the latest batch at Kamakura at half the price ).
^ hahahaha
Check out some of the gentlemen on the Levis site, even odder shaped.
Ha, I used to do a lot of gym and gong fu, now I mainly just cycle and do push ups.
On a serious tip...its a big thing with the young guys nowadays.. a lot of eating disorders etc, its a shame, im glad I grew up when I did the younger guys have it tough... if its not that its roids and trying to look like a machine..
Middle age spread got me before i was middle age, the last thing im bothered about is my physique...clothes however bother me..and this slim fit trend will not do!
