I got these from my sister;

Both purchase from Kevin & Howlin in Dublin.
Damn fine shirt, AC!
I used some Christmas money and bought myself some Brooks Brothers wide wale cords in the Milano fit. I went with grey, brown (carmel), and dark green. The fit pretty perfectly! I wouldn't mind if the rise were an inch or so higher, but they'll certainly do.
That makes a difference, when it comes to walking around town.
You should also sport a Beckenbauer-ca-1972-Afro.
Very, very grown-up.
^ slight tangent.
Surely only Roses or Quality Street count for Christmas.
I was horrified to see Celebrations and Heroes are more popular than Quality Street - allegedly.
Celebrations is just miniature bars. Not proper Christmas stuff at all in my opinion. Also made by Mars - so inherently untrustworthy, over marketed tat.
Only chocolate gifts received were Lindt - Swiss.
Made by a 'chocolatier' instead of an old family firm from Yorkshire.
All old school chocs and sweets now owned by multinationals anyway.
I like Cailler and Cadbury.
Maybe try Chocolat Bonnat from France. Also made by a chocolatier but they're a small, independent company and the quality is good. For the connaisseur Pierre Marcolini or Laurent Gerbaud. Don't know if that's similar to being made by Yorkshire lads and lasses though.
now Cadbury's got artificial flavor in it so Fruit & Nut is off the list but Hershey bars with almonds have natural flavor ... wtf ....
Hershey bars with almonds rule! they do.
Almond Joys and Mounds are still delicious.
Almond Joy might be the only candy bar to have a rock band named after it.

Re. good chocolate, I bought a handful of bars from a couple of UK companies recently; Chocolate Tree and Pump Street Bakery. Both stocked by a local shop in Noe Valley. I'm eating rye crumb, milk & sea salt right now.

Pink Brooks Brothers OCBD
Navy Sperry cloud CVOs
At 50% off, got the brooks brothers duffle in navy blue with the plaid lining. Really pleased with it. Also, some Clark Supima cotton khakis with a decent rise and Clark cavalryTwill, soft and thick with a nice rise as well and some stretchy spandex in the waist to accommodate my holiday gluttony.
