A bit more than just one cool pic... But as this is a history-focused thread and I think most of us are history minded, here is the 1971 Kent State yearbook... Some events have become so iconic in history that it can be surprising to see them placed back in their original context... Here are all the famous photos of Kent State, as well as the burning of the ROTC building and the huge protests and inquiry... also the frats and sororities, the sports teams, the school's academic and extracurricular programs, just like any other school at the time.
A bit after Ivy but a fascinating window into the complexities and contradictions of an explosive time in America's history... and a very well designed yearbook besides...
