Thanks, Old Harry. Sort of rediscovering them this week. Last time I pulled out my BJM records was about 3 years ago.
They made some of the best Stones LPs the Stones never made, if you know what I mean.

Moving on to BJM's Give It Back! On CD but that's okay. I think I like this one even better than the above. I've got one more -- Take it from the Man, on blue vinyl.
Give It Back! is a bit like the virtuosity of Mick Taylor-era Stones mixed with the drone of Loveless-era My Bloody Valentine. Pretty fascinating combination.
(All this music listening on a Wednesday is owing to teleworking from home today, a nice little perk I get to enjoy at least once a week.)

Pretty soon it will be time to spin records for spring and summer weather. What do you recommend? Give me your best warm weather record list.
See a few of my own summertime favorites in there, including Black and Blue and On the Corner. I found a fresh used copy of OtC last summer that beats the pants off my recent vinyl reissue. This is a reminder too that I have to pick up a copy of Jack Johnson. Miles in the summertime is pretty sublime.
/\ added Sly & the Family Stone's classic greatest hits LP and a couple of Van Halen tunes to the list above ..........
I've got me some Stone Family. Who's this Van Halen you speak of?
/\ added Burnin' by the Wailers to the list above .......
Hmm. Well, the Stones could be rather catholic, i.e., indiscriminating, in their associations, I guess. Never heard of them, personally, except here and a couple of other places.
I got Burnin'. Nice add. Also much love for the Live album.

How about some B-52s for a summer list? I have the first LP and Cosmic Thing on LP.
Don't worry
