But article status for this and all other sale notifications. Big 'bout ya.
Sorry bout the mis-info, didn't notice the grain weren't in sale.
Might be worth keeping an eye over the next few days to see what pops up.
Awhile back, I bought a pair of vintage Johnston and Murphy Aristocraft, made-in-the-USA split toes on eBay. On paper, they seemed like they would be great....they were built similar to a classic American gunboat, with the double soles and all, and used pebble grain leather. I thought a found a unicorn when I saw them in my size. I ended up re-selling them though. In real life, the shape of these did not look good....they had a chiseled toe that wore too much a like duck foot....similar to the square toes that were everywhere in the 1990s (you know, like those cheap, square toe black loafers by brands like Kenneth Cole).

^ nice one woof, I think you've found the seller - 'ciedeshommes' - the French eBay premium shoe guy.
He has some cracking stuff, usually has reasonably priced JM Westons as well.

I recognised his style of 'not great' product photo.

Paraboot for Bally?
C&J Durham £405. Tried them on in the shop last week. As a result, They have jumped to top of my list. So much nicer in the flesh and they fit my feet wonderfully.

You got the taste for it and now you can't stop, Woof!
Edward Green Dover is the best of this style.
Some other examples put me in mind of a lady's naughty bits.
Bexley and AE Walton for example. Paraboot compounds this by also having a label on the outside of the shoe.
Other options are JM Weston “Demi-chasse” derby or Hunt derby, fucking nutso expensive but quite tasty looking
The Trickers version of the Waltons shown above is for sale, boxed looking as new in a UK 7 at Backlash Vintage in Nottingham for £59. Looked good.
There are split toes and then there are split feet... I love these

It is the design I object to. They may be soundly constructed.
