Big overall, I can send you a picture, it feels like it's too much to alter, you know, cheaper to buy a new one.
As has been said: if it's right on the shoulders it can't be too bad. Remember it needs to fit over a tweed jacket - it's not supposed to be a tight fit. Photos definitely needed, with Sancho wearing it over a jacket (the heavier the better).

Great pics Chipper - do tell us more about the duffle?
I'm looking forward to wearing my Rogers Peet Scotch Mist overcoat - if we get a winter this year in the UK 🇬🇧
Thanks, Woof. Tibbet is the maker, made in England, wool, toggle-closure (no zipper), hits right about the knee or maybe slightly above. Warm as a furnace.

Tweed overcoat and foulard tie is a great combination.
Since I STILL haven't found a decent one, I'm a pretty short dude and all the ones I have found would usually end at me feet, is there any contemporary ones that will get the job done? I hate to say it, but decent vintage stuff is pretty rough to find, atleast for a asymmetrical shaped person as myself.
You gotta be a similar size to me man, i'l pm you anything I find. Guess you are 5'9" - 5'10" 38 chest etc?
Take a look here, probably interesting for you. Those seem to be very well made overcoats, just like in the old days:
