Re: The Gallery -

Here's the original post. The pics came from Style Forum and Shooey linked them so if you're being serious then you could always PM Shooey. He'll remember where he found them I'm sure. Alternatively you could do a google search for those photobucket addresses and perhaps track the guy down that way.

Thank goodness for that. I was almost on the case myself then. Searching through stacks of photobuckets and disguising myself as a SF poster to unearth the swine. Lucky for you I didn't have the red mist come down or you might have had blood on your hands. LOL.

Nice line up Mr Woof.

Care to number them from 1 to 10 in order of most worn /easiest to wear? Or 10 to 1

10 = most worn 1 = least worn

I don't wear a jacket on a daily basis, as a result I have a fairly modest collection (by some standards). These are all wool jackets that I got out to check and air off.

It's hard to answer your question.  The navy blazers are in two weights so I can wear one at any time of year. The Brooks grey herringbone has all the classic ivy details, but it is a heavy tweed and only really suitable for winter.  The two Press Donegal Mist jackets in grey and olive are lighter so more wearable. Then there is the Brooks brown check jacket which makes me look just like Steve McQueen pic on the cover of the Hollywood Ivy book.......in my dreams that is.

It's hard to answer you question as I like them all!

I count fourteen in the photo. A lot of jackets if you do not wear them daily. More so if you also have suits. Still, if you have space for them it is manageable.

You're right it is a lot and there are some I plan to dispose of. However, as I said, it is a modest collection by some people's standards and they all have their place.

Sounds like you're going to kill them and bury them in a lake somewhere quiet...

woof - thanks I didn't expect a academic paper - I find that if I'm honest somethings get much much much more wear than others.

Some things "I really like" hardly ever get pulled out of the cupboard.

Some lovely colours there Bop, the way you got the light falling on them is excellent. I think you had your creative beret on when you took it!

Good idea to bump this thread too, I've enjoyed looking through it as well.
