Gentlemen,

I was hoping someone could explain the meaning/impact of the above. As I understand it, point to point means the measurement/distance from shoulder to shoulder, or is it from shoulder blade to blade?

Given that I was looking through a manufacturer's model book today, and see 2 suit models listed, both natural shouldered, one having an 18 3/4 point to point measurement, and the other 19 1/4, what impact will this have on the fit of the shoulder? Will the latter 19 1/4 suit have a slightly extended shoulder, and a looser chest, or will these measurements have no impact at all on these areas?
