Ivy League style for today

Along with the #3 crop, probably a more skinhead or 'Anglo-Ivy' influenced look:

highly polished black brogues
black/dark red/off-white argyles
slim lightweight khakis, rolled up
old (browning at the edges) black belt with brass buckle
navy BD
natural coloured Harrington/G9

You?

Re: Ivy League style for today

I've gone with:

842 haircrop
Brooks Blue/White Candy striped OCBD with the sleeves rolled. Untucked
Pale Khaki shorts from LL Bean. 9", flat front.
'Brown Elk' Sebago Docksiders   http://www.solelyshoes.com/acatalog/dockside_classic.htm
No socks today.

Feeling a little 'Take Ivy' -ish...

A rare suit day for me today:

White Brooks OCBD.
Wine/Bottle Green/Gold narrow Repp tie - Liberty's.
Cordovan Penny loafers - Fairmount.

Re: Ivy League style for today

earlier today it was cold-ish and rainy, thus, a white w/ small navy checks brooks bros bd, a burgundy sleeveless v neck, dark denim h&m jeans w/ 3/4 inch turnups, a black belt, burgundy falke socks, black florsheim imperials + a grey daniel hechter lightweight mac.

later on he weather went better and it was a time for a backyard barbecue at my mate's house i switched to a madras-esque checked dna groove ss bd (off-white w multivoloured check), dark denim bootcut diesel jeans, no turnups, choc brown canvas belt, burgundy socks + sand desert boots, brooks bros shades, my mrs, kid, dalmatian and jack russel + some great bbq sauces, a few beers + a happy grin on me face!

Re: Ivy League style for today

Now, I am just sitting at home in my white T and blue boxers, still no socks...

It was far too warm today for T-shirt, shirt and jacket but I always wear a jacket to work, not for the style, but for my keys, my mobile, for my fags (that is ciggies for you... I do not carry miniature benders in my pockets...) and all my favourite things...

I know not this "Ripley" you mention, my name is Dickie Greenleaf...

HBH, I would have gone for it, and probably regretted it, and failed to learn any lesson from it.
