One for Ted -

Tell me 'bout your Trad?
I'm happy to chat about my take on it all.
But I would be interested in a young man's view.
Miles.

Re: One for Ted -

Fair question Ted.
You & I probably shared a very similar childhood on different sides of the Atlantic. My brother loved it & stayed English Fogey Trad (if you like). I found it restrictive & went my own way. I can't criticise anybody for doing what they believed was right at home & at school when I was growing up. But I came to see a lot of racism, snobbery, anti-semitism, homophobia, Xenophobia, etc. etc. etc. in what I was raised to believe.
I always wanted a bit more freedom & I have a taste for colourful friends.
Odd that my rebelious clothes are your ... what? ... clothes of the old status quo (?). Not a criticism of you, just an observation on my story.

Miles.
