Wonderful condition - 38R Vintage Harris Tweed Sack: 3/2, Natural shoulder, etc.

Soft tan with Blue & Brown Stripe. Half lined. Harris label & Union label.

20" pit to pit, 17.5" across the shoulders, 31" long and 23"-ish sleeves.

I really like the shoes and the sweaters. I have to admit to not really understanding the measurement thing. I've figured out that my fit is somewhere in the 42R suit / 16" neck / mostly L / 33" arm range. How would that compare to the sweaters you're posting?

I took the measurements in the following manner:
Chest; armpit to armpit across the front.
Length; down the back from the top of the neck to the hem.
Sleeves; from the shoulder to the cuff.
Measuring the sleeves from the middle of the neck would give measurements of 34" to 36"

I have added generic sizes based on the measurement across the chest. in the descriptions. I reckon the possibly the large size would fit yourself.

The best thing would be to take measurements from a sweater that fits you well and then compare them to mine.

A small brown stain (Rust?) on the right sleeve, visible here:

This is in fair vintage condition, a few light marks from wear but not stained. Got this on ebay and it was supposed to be a 38R - just trying to make back what I paid for it. $24 USD & postage.
