Ah! I thought that this thread was going to be about the ill-fated George Dyer who was the painter Francis Bacon's boyfriend/muse during the 1960's! Slightly dissapointed now! wink Pretty sharp dresser he was too - got some great photos. You can take the boy out of art college but.......

A chum of Bacon's once took me to the Colony Room. Picked me up on the street. 19, I was. Bunking off Uni & hiding in a B&B in Pimlico...

It's one of those stories I tell.
