Re: Ivy League style for today

I actually didn't think the weather was all that bad today; in fact, I did a 30 mile ride through the Fern Creek area and into the tip of Bullitt County.  You're right though, the jacket came off pretty much as soon as I got out of my car.  The texture polo is probably by favorite top, but to my disappointment, Fred Perry increased the price to $200 which is out of my budget, especially since I hope to get a motorcycle in spring.

Sharp outfit Biscotti, I like expecially the FP/ N. jacket combination.
You seem ready for a Triumph 'Bonne' or a Bsa!;-)

Me today, in an attempt to pursuit a..ehm..'purist' Ivy approach: Sack vintage sportscoat (kinda brownish dark green), white BB tab collar (full cut); bottle green/burgundy slim silky vintage repp tie ('American' slope); silk hanky; medium-high rise grey parallels with on seam pockets, uncuffed; dark brown socks,  black tassel weejuns Made in USA (J.S., 2003, last lot). Rayban predator and college boy haircut.

I may have to steal your shoes while you're not looking....substitute them with my shoddier offerings. I'll just need to get my toes shaved an inch or two. Amazing what you can get on the NHS.
